As a kid growing up outside of DC, I have to admit I get a kick out of Animal Collective naming their latest release Merriweather Post Pavillion. That place is cool (think Hollywood Bowl with grass), even if my track record there isn’t -- among the shows I saw there include The Monkees and Huey Lewis & the News.

Does anyone have any info on how to get in to the Manifest Hope:DC Inauguration Party with Moby, Santogold, and De La Soul? Everywhere says Invitation only, but doesn’t go in depth on the invite process? Regardless they are also having an open house all weekend during the day with some really sick art exhibits.
