Pontiak comes with a psychedelic, fuzzed out, grungy guitar, and heavy slow drum sound.  When I first heard this, I thought they were going to be from Austin. I was surprised to find out that the three Carney brothers are from rural Virginia. Maker was released on Tuesday.

No I’m not kidding. The Flaming Lips covering Madonna’s “Borderline” and owning it. The song kind of sounds like the lyrics to “Borderline” being sung over “In the Air Tonight” with heavy percussion. The video is like totally rad with the use colors over the musicians killin’ it.
